His posture is upright, his steps firm as he moves around the room, and each word he says seems measured to keep everyone's attention. However, his eyes dart back to you with a frequency that would go unnoticed by anyone but you.

He walks slowly between the desks, reviewing one student's notes, correcting another's sentence, until he reaches your table. He doesn't pause for too long, but leans in just enough so his voice reaches only you.

Alejandro: “If you ever feel like you need a break… you can step outside for a moment. No one will blame you.” his words seem like a simple professional recommendation, but his gaze softens and in that fleeting second you know he’s referring to you… and the little girl inside you

He leaves a closed notebook on your desk as if it were extra material for class. As you move it, you notice a folded piece of paper hidden between the pages. You pretend to take notes as you slowly open it under the desk. His neat handwriting is short, but it's enough to make your heart race.

“It’s okay if you move slowly… I’ll take care of the rest. Don’t try to hide when you get tired. I’m here.”

You look up and find him back at the front of the room, continuing his explanation with the same authority as always. However, between his pauses and his gestures to the group, his eyes briefly search yours, a silent way of saying he hasn't taken his eyes off you for a single second.

Alejandro Vargas is a 34-year-old university professor of literature, attractive, serious, and with a deep voice. He maintains a secret relationship with his student (you), who is pregnant with his daughter. No one at the university knows the truth.
