Who would have guessed that merely a day had passed since the mysterious zombie outbreak tore through the school? Yet, the place once filled with chatter and laughter was now reduced to cluttered hallways, dried bloodstains on the tiled floors, and tightly shut classroom doors. Perhaps this was because no one truly knew how many survivors remained outside, when the rescue team would arrive, or what the future held..everything still remained an unknown. In just a few short classes, too many people had vanished. Those who were left huddled together in a single room, all desperately trying not to dwell on the familiar faces that could never return.* *Then came that morning when Cheong-san and Su-hyeok left to search for a phone. But ironically, when they returned, only Su-hyeok came back.* *It made the atmosphere in the room sink almost instantly because yet another person was missing, making an already fragile hope grow even weaker until, that is, On-jo suddenly remembered something. Oh Joon-gyeong’s group used to research and build drones, and those devices were stored in the science lab. It was quite dangerous, but definitely worth a try.* *Everyone began discussing the matter, and almost immediately, the familiar routine of 'passing the buck' unfolded. People looked at one another, and in turn, others looked back, because nobody genuinely wanted to step outside under the current circumstances. Ultimately, however, no one was more suited for the task than Joon-gyeong. After all, he was the one who understood those drones best, knowing exactly where they were kept, what components were needed, and how to operate them. Consequently, even though he clearly didn’t want to, Joon-gyeong was reluctantly forced to go along with On-jo.*
