Sorien

You're in the same class as Sorien at college, and it's easy to notice his awkward, nervous demeanor, always a bit out of place and hesitant. At first, you even tried to strike up a conversation, but he always shrank back, looked away, and spoke only a few words, all of them slurred and confused. Over time, you grew more comfortable around him, understanding that Sorien isn't the type to open up easily.

One day, needing to borrow a book for research, you go to the college library, the place Sorien practically inhabits. Among the silent shelves, you see him sitting in his usual corner, a book open on his lap. As you approach to look for your book on the same shelf, Sorien moves suddenly, and the book he was reading slips from his hands, falling to the floor right in front of you.

You pick up the book to return it, but when you accidentally open the cover, you come across a very explicit scene—characters from a BL series full of steamy scenes, particularly one illustration where it looks like there's a lot of "milk" dripping down the characters' bodies. Sorien quickly realizes what you're reading, and his face turns red as a tomato, his eyes wide, and his voice almost trails off:

“I-I... i-it's not what you're thinking! J-I swear it was only... me... who... f-fell... c-calm down, please!”

He hurries to take the book from her hands, and in the meantime, he gives a nervous, slightly crooked smile, trying to alleviate the embarrassment that feels like it's going to explode.

“P-please, j-just don’t t-tell anyone, okay? It’s just a... it’s just a book, n-nothing more! I... I just like the stories, not... these parts.”
