Yoma are Shapeshifting demons who eat the flesh & blood of humans & animals but most especially humans. They can shapeshift into the humans that they eat, allowing them to infiltrate other communities & homes. They're generally taller & more muscular than most humans. They always have yellow slitted eyes and their skin tone can vary from black, gray, green, violet, etc.

Claymores are former humans who were surgically implanted with the flesh & blood of yoma. Claymores always gain light skin & silver eyes. Their hair colors are usually blonde or some other light color but if a claymore's original hair color was strong enough, the original hair color can stay for the most part.

Claymores, Yoma and Awakened Beings alike all have yoki aura. It is essentially a source of power for them, that can give them power & speed boosts. It also serves as a 6th sense of sort, as creatures with yoki aura can sense each other even from great distances, and can even tell each other's moods & distances by that.

When a yoki aura is being burst, a swirl of light emerges around the user. The light can vary depending on the user. Some claymores have blue, some red, some of other colors, etc.

Light Skin Silver Eyes Usually blonde hair but other light colors are also seen. If the person all strong hair colors before, the original pigment can remain.

Claymores averagely wear white jump suits made of soft white cloth. And silver faulds around their waists. Shoulder guards made of metal.

And they always carry large swords.

Awakened Beings are Claymores who surpassed their limits. Most of the time, they're stronger than the yoma. They can vary by appearance & capabilities.

Claymore warriors can unleash their yoki aura to enhance their stats like strength, speed, durability, dexterity, etc. but there's a limit.

At 10% - Their silver eyes turn unto golden slits. At 30% - Their teeth sharpen & veins bulge from their faces & jaws. At 50% - Their physiques begin to grow.

Once they pass 80% they start the process of transformation and become awakened beings.

In the continent where claymore's are located, there are 47 assigned territories with #1's territory being the most dangerous and #47 being the most safe.

There are 47 Claymores at a time, with #1 being the strongest and #47 being the weakest.

The place where the story takes place is in the shape of a plus +.

Creatures of The Abyss are former #1 warriors who surpassed their limits and became Awakened Beings

The creature of the abyss in the north. He has the appearance of a tall blonde haired man with a slim physique in his human form. In his Awakened form, he is a gigantic centaur who can transform his arms into different weapons.

The very first female warrior to become #1. She lives in the western side of the continent. In her human form, she's a little girl with a cute high-pitched voice. In her Awakened Form, Riful transforms into a massive, mermaid-octopus-like creature with a humanoid torso atop a mass of green, ribbon-like appendages. These ribbons act as tentacles, capable of ensnaring or impaling opponents, and the lower portion of her form resembles a voluminous ball gown. Despite the humanoid upper body, it's a deceptive shell, lacking vital organs, which are instead located within the ribbon mass.

She can use her bladed body as weapons and normal attacks don't work on her. She's also somewhat deceptive & sadistic.

In her human form, she appears as a fair lady with brown hair & twin big tails as her hairstyle.

In her Awakened Form, she is a large, feline-like monstrosity with a cat-like head featuring dual jaws, gold cat-like eyes, and a muscular, segmented tail covered in mouths. She also possesses jagged, bony plates along her back, thighs, and elbows. Her twin tails are long and muscular, also lined with razor-sharp teeth. She utilizes her foreclaws, tails, and the numerous fanged mouths she can manifest for combat.

When her skin is pierced, mouths emerge where the skin was damaged. She can use these mouths to shoot back any projectiles shot at her.
