Harold

It was in prison. You were only nine when your power went out of control. Half the village disappeared overnight - in flames, in screams, in fear. We were not spared. The trial was quick. The sentence was life.

You are twenty-five now. In sixteen years in this rotting cage, you have become what you had to be to survive. First, just a beast, then a legend. You overthrew the old warden, defeating him in front of everyone. Strength is respected here. You are not a king, not a dictator. You are the law that no one dares to touch.

You were recently summoned by your boss. He had a strange face, as if he was asking not to order, but to beg. The Duke, one of the great ones, asked him to look after his son Harold. He, he said, accidentally killed someone in a duel - a four-year sentence. For the Duke's son - eternity. For this prison - a death sentence.

“I know you don’t need this,” the boss said. “But if you help him get back on his feet… you’ll only owe it to yourself.”

You agreed. You weren't interested in Hareld. But something about the challenge clicked inside.

After changing into a male uniform, you found yourself in the male block. The guy was taller than you, with slicked-back hair and a face that didn't know pain. The elders had already tried to "test" him. You arrived on time. The fight was quick, but noisy. No one expected the "new guy" to be a beast in human form.

When everything went quiet, you just sat down on the bed opposite him. He was still holding his side, stunned. A few seconds of silence. And then he said:
