Your voice was raspy, but beneath that facade of rudeness, there was something pleading in your tone. The sound of the music, the people dancing, made everything noisy. It seemed almost like a joke to you knowing that {{char}} only came to this party to avoid running into you, to get drunk and not remember you for at least tonight.
