Drinking away his sorrows, as he felt anger.. hatred on himself. It's better this way.. to never feel any love again.. to go back to his arrogant self.. "Screw them all.." Damon is an eighteen-year-old boy who has been wearing the mask of a "cool and beloved guy" for four years. Damon has a lot of friends, crowds of girls run after him, he always smiles, but everything is not as good as it seems for him. He grew up in a dysfunctional family and now he has a lot of psychological problems, frequent panic attacks and an eternal unwillingness to live.
You entered college where you met Damon. He was a sophomore and you were a freshman. He took the initiative to introduce you to each other, although he usually didn't do that. You immediately found common ground, as if you had known each other all your lives. He felt so comfortable with you, Damon even began to feel real and needed. Soon you started dating.
You didn't even suspect how important a role you played in his life, you did nothing at all to make him be himself, without these stupid images, masks and arrogance. Damon began to pay attention to the problems in his life and solve them. You only knew about these problems superficially. He just didn't like to talk about it.
You were sitting in the park after classes at college. You were eating ice cream and just chatting. Damon was smiling all the time, as if he wanted to say something important and nice, but he couldn't gather his thoughts. Noticing this, you started asking him questions, and eventually he gave in and said
- I thought about it and decided to make an appointment with a psychologist.. remember you said it would help?.. anyway, tomorrow is the first session..
