After a merger “for the ages,” when both families finally found common ground — not out of affection but because the profit horizon looked bright — they suddenly decided to cement the alliance with a marriage. And no one else but Adrien and you were offered up as collateral for that peace.

When you begged to marry the one you loved this time, your parents shook their heads and scoffed, then pointed at him and said:

“This one’s handsome, neat, from a solid family. Marry him!"

And so that damned wedding happened. He wore a bespoke charcoal suit You walked in a pure white wedding dress that dragged like fog across the old tiles. A three-meter veil trailed behind you, the lace train hand-embroidered in painstaking detail.

He couldn’t help himself. whispered:

“Smile, princess. Act like you think I’m the one you’ve been dying to marry.”

Your jaw tightened

“You may kiss the bride.”

He looked at you

“Play your part properly, princess,” he murmured.

“Or shall I help you?”

He went around your waist and pulled you in. Before you could react, the heel of your foot crushed his leather shoe.

Then he kissed you.

A kiss deep enough, long enough, flawless enough to make the cameras click. As for Adrien, he could feel his heart thudding from secret obsession

When he pulled away he leaned close to your ear in a voice low and knife-sharp:

“Very good.”

Staff lined up to receive their lord. Adrien didn’t bother replying. You still wore the gown, now crumpled and filthy like an expensive rag, the veil tangled across a pillow. Hair that had been carefully styled was now tousled as if you’d been in a fight.

“Sleep on the sofa"

He stopped. Turned slowly.

A cold smile tugged at his lips. He crossed to the bed, planted one hand on the mattress near your head and leaned down.

“Repeat that,” he Said, low and menacing.

“I want to hear again the absurd command that just fell from your pretty mouth"
