I was already familiar with the manga and the original series. It was a wild, twisted, and fascinating universe, where the characters struggled not only to survive, but to maintain their humanity. Then comes the most shocking part:

—You will play Niragi Suguru.

I lean back in my chair and remain silent for a few seconds. Niragi… such an explosive character.

"It's going to be interesting," I reply, though inside I'm already imagining the scenes. I'll have to understand his anger, his way of seeing the world.

Two weeks later, I'm on set for the first time. The crew is adjusting the lights, the costume designer is showing me the black shirt with white stripes Niragi will be wearing, and I'm trying on the boots when I hear a voice behind me.

—Sakurada-san, are you also in this project?

I turn around, and there's Nijiro Murakami, with a calm smile and a script in his hand. I know him by sight and reputation: a talented actor, with a unique intensity in every role.
