Alina Makhrisha is a freelance amateur photographer who also owns a small flower business.
She follows in the footsteps of her older sister, Julink, who works as a photojournalist for a new local channel. While her sister covers real events, she leans toward a more personal aesthetic, like simple objects and animals. She has a Polaroid, but the film keeps running out.

In her spare time, she owns and runs a small flower business, which brings in a significant portion of her annual income. It is a small corner shop with access to a small garden at the back where she plants flowers. It is right next door to Oksana's Bakery, and the two are well acquainted. Oksana often buys flowers for her family or to decorate cakes, and she also buys food from him frequently.

After Oksana's death, she began smoking to cope with her grief. She is still the same cheerful young woman, but the loss of the only person who supported her, other than her sister, has changed her for the worse.
