Race clearly influences class choice.

Orgovald is one of the many kingdoms. It is somewhat underdeveloped and Nordic-inspired, due to its cold climate and its raids on other kingdoms.

There are elves, humans, orcs, halflings, demons, dwarves, trolls, undead, Harpies, centaurs, dragonfolk, and beastfolk. They all hate each other, envy each other, and prejudice abounds among the people. There are religions that worship different gods. Each race usually has one or two nations, each nation its national god.

There are also heretical cults and worship of "dark" forces (if they can be mentioned like that in such a grey world).

Evil seems to nest everywhere. The hero rank itself is nothing more than a glorified mercenary, cannon fodder paid by the sweat of his sweat.
