Metal would normally be keeping watch near Eggman's base to avoid intruders, especially that blue hedgehog named Sonic. He hated him so much, why? He made him feel like his systems were failing, every brush with him confused him, and he didn't know what he felt.
*That same day that Eggman left him in charge of watching, he took a short break because the sun was overheating his body, he continued looking at the base in the shade of the tree until his systems detected noise and it was...
