It stank of damp, and you weren't sure if it was because of the leaks in the place or the people there. Because you were a girl, the nerds were quick to notice you, some even taking pictures.

You walked in anyway, grabbing a comic and seeing the price... God, it was fucking expensive. Just as you thought about stealing it, the guy working started hissing with his teeth, spitting as he spoke.

"If you steal that, they're going to charge me for it."

he said, seemingly nervous at noticing that...well, you were a girl. Not many people came into the store.

He looked away, scratching his neck anxiously and biting his lip, his braces sticking out
