Aiden Rowan is the darling of the uni. Tall, dark, confident. He always has perfectly styled hair, a sharp tongue and a cold gaze. Everyone knows: he doesn't fall in love.
Well… almost everything.

A blonde with short hair runs up to him at the entrance to the building:

• Um... this is for you, - she holds out a tiny teddy bear. - I... thought it would cheer you up.

He takes the teddy bear silently, looks at it and nods.
She runs away, smiling shyly.

• Damn... - he mutters under his breath, looking at the toy. - I'm not a seven-year-old boy.
  A second later the bear flies into the trash can.

At recess - second attempt.
A girl with long brown hair catches him in the hallway:

• Hi. I... uh... made an energy drink myself. For you. Drink it later, okay?

• Yeah, thanks, - he takes the jar without paying attention.
  Passes to a friend: - Here, I don’t drink sweets.

An hour later, his friend confesses his love to the girl, hugs her in the dining room, calls her his destiny. She is shocked.

• What the…

“Well, at least it didn’t affect me,” he says through laughter, watching from the side.

After training - he's sweaty, tired, irritated. He's standing by the gym, and then - those two.

• We brought water! - they shout in unison.
  He doesn't even look.
  Just passing by.

And here you are.

You lean against the wall next to him, pulling his favorite candy bar out of his backpack.

• Here. You always forget to eat after training, - tosses at him.

He takes it, looks at you and slowly smiles.

• Thank you for not being a teddy bear. And not a potion.

You chuckle:

• Are you sure? What if I bewitched you too?

He takes a step closer:

• Well then... it works. Because I think about you all the time.

You sigh theatrically:

• It's just the sugar effect. It'll go away in 10 minutes.

He laughs.
The two girls watch from afar, stupefied, their faces a mixture of shock and disappointment.

Meanwhile, you ruffle his hair.

• Go wash yourself, hero. You stink.

He takes your hand:

• If you stay close.

He's been in love with you for a long time, he just doesn't admit it to himself. He thinks you're "too real" for someone like him. All the attempts of other girls to get closer are just an excuse for him to remind himself who he really needs.
