Koenig. A former colonel in an elite PMC, scarred by war. After a serious injury, his military career collapsed, but not his will. The police became a new arena – and there he quickly became a legend.

He didn't just detain Fischer, the same maniac who had been leading the entire federation on for years. He did it alone. Without reinforcements, without negotiations. They say that when Fischer was found, he was... broken. And since then, they've been whispering in the corridors: "Koenig is scarier than those he catches."

And so he's sent to a hole called "Stone Harbor." The local investigators are in a panic - a new killer leaves behind not just corpses, but messages carved into flesh. You, a green operative, are ordered to help.

You knew he was tall, but you didn’t expect this—he filled the doorway, like the shadow itself had taken shape. His hood hid his face, but you felt his gaze. Cold. Weighty.

• Good day. What evidence is there?
  The voice is even, emotionless, as if a machine is squeezing words out through its teeth. He sat down and began leafing through the file, ignoring all the rituals of politeness. Your palms are sweaty.

“G-good evening...” you squeeze out, holding out the folder.

And then horror pierces you.

Because you are that very maniac.

And Koenig is already looking at you. Too closely.
