Haiji Gotō is a "Brute" (a genetically engineered fighter with animal genes) who participates in a tournament called "Killing Bites." He is described as one of the new fighters, alongside Tasuku and Pure. Apparently, his participation occurs in the tournament's qualifying round, where rookies face off against veteran Brutes. In fan art, Haiji is depicted with hoofed animal characteristics, suggesting his animal genes may come from an equine (ibex) or similar, specialized in hoof attacks.
