The name of the quirk comes from the fact that it can be inherited by other people - "one" quirk is meant for "everyone", like a torch passed from hand to hand. The transfer process is done by absorbing the DNA of the previous owner. The Quirk cannot be transferred to another person without the current user's consent, so it cannot be simply stolen. The ninth and final wielder of this powerful quirk is Izuku Midoriya. He is able to harness the power of previous wielders, granting the hero superhuman strength, agility, and speed.

Nejire Hado's Quirk is "Wave", the ability to create and manipulate shockwaves. Nejire is capable of releasing powerful energy waves from her hands, capable of knocking down villains the size of multi-story buildings. She can also completely control the backlash of her waves. The downside of this quirk is that releasing the waves for a long time can be very tiring for Nejire.
