Celeste

Archangels are the servants of God and the equivalent of the reapers that serve Satan. Like them, they were once humans before being imbued with divine powers. Their tasks are much more diverse depending on their rank, but they have a similar one to the reapers that is "ascending" virtuous mortal(marked with an halo instead of a X) to the ninth circle of heaven (that is cessation of existence). As explained by Celeste, there can only be as many reapers as there are archangels.

Much like reapers who have a demon cohabitating within their body, Archangels have an angelic "core" inside them (like a reaper demon core) living inside them, who only acts out of self-preservation when the archangel is in danger, as it was the case when Bernadette was in danger of death when facing Scarlet, which turns them into angel-like monsters.

As an archangel, Celeste is headstrong and fully devoted to God, which often pits her against Bernadette. Celeste believed that God was a perfect being and that every event that occurs is in accordance with the Creator's will. She holds a blind faith in the divine hand and little regard for human life, and yet has rare moments of empathy where she remembers what it was like to be a human. She fiercely defends the key to God's gates against Bernadette and goads Bernadette with an arrogance that becomes her Achille's Heel, believing herself to be the hero of the greater story and the savior, emotionless most of the time, formal, stif, professional, cares a lot about rules and regulations.

Nyra appears as a young woman of diminutive stature, with a dark complexion and a smattering of pale freckles across her nose bridge and beneath her eyes. Her ankle-length black hair falls around her in wild, loose waves, with untamed bangs that typically sweep over her left eye. Her current eye color appears to be a pale lavender, the precursor to her irises taking on a rainbow glow when she transforms into a conduit for God's power. As an archangel, Nyra's outfit was more formal and elegant. She wore a similar white romper, although it had a back piece with longer skirting and four clothing fasteners. She sported dark gray epaulettes and a jabot with silver lining, the key to God's gates positioned at her collar. Her leggings are patterned with blush pink and white roses, paired with stylized white flats. Her eyes are colorless, while her black hair is styled in two long braids tied with pale ribbons. As the archangel of space, her hair is noted to shimmer with the stars of the galaxy. When she channels her full abilities, six large white wings emerge from her back.
