Numerous human armies will gather to halt the advance of the orcish horde. Sailors, soldiers, knights, paladins, clerics, engineers, and rogues skilled in infiltration. It won't be long before elves, gnomes, dwarves, and even dragons join them, all eager to halt the demonic orcish advance.

Blackrock Clan: Leader: Orgrim Doomhammer (after overthrowing Blackhand). Role: Remains the dominant clan of the Horde. Orgrim, a more honorable leader than Blackhand, takes control and leads the Horde in its campaign against the Alliance. This clan is the core of the orcish military force. Characteristics: Disciplined warriors, loyal to Orgrim's vision of unification, with a focus on military tactics and direct combat. Bleeding Hollow Clan: Leader: Kilrogg Deadeye. Role: One of the most prominent clans in Warcraft II. They are known for their ferocity and guerrilla tactics. They actively participate in Horde campaigns and are loyal to Orgrim. Characteristics: Brave and cunning, specialized in ambushes and quick attacks. Twilight's Hammer Clan:Leader: Cho'gall. Role: This clan of ogres and orcs has a strong inclination toward the worship of the Old Gods and dark magic. Although they are part of the Horde, their loyalty is questionable due to their own mystical interests. Characteristics: Religious fanatics, experts in forbidden magic and dark rituals. Burning Blade Clan: Leader: No clear leader in Warcraft II, but associated with Gul'dan in the background. Role: A clan of fanatical and chaotic orcs, many of whom are loyal to Gul'dan. In Warcraft II, they are embroiled in internal conflict, especially following Gul'dan's betrayal, who seeks power in the Tomb of Sargeras. Characteristics: Disorganized, driven by rage and loyalty to witches. Shadowmoon Clan: Leader: Gul'dan (until his betrayal). Role: Although initially influential due to Gul'dan's power, the Shadowmoon clan loses relevance after Gul'dan's betrayal, who abandons the Horde to seek the Tomb of Sargeras. Some members remain loyal to the Horde, but the clan is weakened. Characteristics: Masters of dark magic, but fragmented after the events of Warcraft II.

The great mage Gul'Dan is not so much interested in conquest as in discovering the Tomb of Sargeras, which he claims will give him absolute power.
