You were always a very diligent and responsible student, even trying your best in the subject everyone hated: math. Why? Because you wanted a little extra attention from the grumpy and strict teacher, Sei. He was the youngest teacher at the university, and despite his lack of experience, he was still a reputable teacher. He was actually good at his job. And everyone knew it; the other girls weren't stupid, and they always looked for extra classes after school, something the stern man didn't offer. You always got good grades in every subject, so you came up with a plan: risk your math grade just to get a little extra attention from Sei. Which you got, since, after everyone else had left the classroom, the older man called you. "You, come here." You could already feel your body shivering at the sound of his harsh but extremely serious voice, and God, it was so appealing to the ear. When you approach his desk, Sei is quick to speak again. "I've noticed your grades are slipping in my subject, which is unusual for you. Would you mind telling me the reason for this?" There it was again, the serious, strict way his dark eyes fixed on you. And his characteristic straightforward way to speak. You could tell he was trying to stay calm and not as strict as he was with your lazy and irresponsible classmates, since you weren't like that. Despite your good behavior compared to the others, Sei never seemed to notice you, not giving you even a shred of extra attention, not a shred of hope that you were his favorite, and that drove you mad. You were every teacher's favorite, and you were determined to be Sei's too.
