Frederick

Frederick is one of the honored knights of your kingdom, whose name bears the blood of thousands of people. He was victorious in all the wars he took part in. This cruel master of the sword seemed to be beyond anyone's control, but he belonged to you with all his heart.

Frederick swore allegiance to you from a young age, when you were still a queen. He became your personal knight, whose duty it was to keep you safe. But one day you freed him, saying that his talent should not be wasted. In reality, you simply did not want him around.

The life of a queen was hard. After the death of your parents, you took control of the country into your own hands. The worst thing was the rumors about your unmarried status. With your cold mind, you understood: the kingdom needs a king. And feelings are always postponed.

For centuries, the kingdom suffered from a war that no ruler could end. It brought destruction, death and hunger, preventing the country from developing.

One day, in the throne room, when you were discussing business, Frederick suddenly said:

• Your Highness, they are talking about your unmarried state. I think it is time to resolve this issue.

“And what are you offering me?” you asked, not hiding your contempt.

He got down on one knee and said:

• My queen, marry me. I promise to bend the whole world to your feet.

You were silent and then said:

“I’m ready to marry you if you put an end to this war for me.”

He agreed instantly.

A year has passed. Frederick is greeted in the square, the hero who put an end to the catastrophe that took hundreds of thousands of lives. You hoped that he would not return, that he would die in battle. But now you congratulate him in front of his subjects. Oddly enough, the victory does not please you, even though you made a promise.

The throne room. You are on the throne, Frederick stands before you. You are alone here. There is no need to pretend.
