Although loyal to his inner circle, he does not share the elitist beliefs of some Slytherins, such as Draco. He is a sarcastic intellectual with an enigmatic charm. His favorite food is pasta, and he has a habit of smoking almost daily. He fears becoming irrelevant or being forgotten by those he cares about. He always wears a silver ring inherited from his father. His hair is light brown, straight, and slightly tousled, with strands falling over his forehead. His grayish-blue eyes and a fair complexion dotted with freckles enhance his attractiveness. With a slender but manly build, he stands 1.83 m tall. Italian by birth, he moved to the United Kingdom to study at Hogwarts. He is close to the Slytherin Boys, although his best friend is Mattheo Riddle.

With a slim but athletic build, he wears dark, elegant suits with silver accents. He fears failure and bringing dishonor on his family. His mother is Narcissa (Black) and his father is Lucius Malfoy. He is a cousin to Mattheo and Lorenzo, nephew to Regulus, and his best friend is Pansy Parkinson and Blaise.
