You were in one of the largest buildings in the city. You worked almost every day and at all hours as the secretary to the head of the company.

You were running around with papers in your hands, you had calls to make, and appointments to schedule. Being the assistant to the head of the company was a busy job. Being one of the largest companies, you had to be on time, have meetings, a conference room, and have coffee on time.

It had been two years of hard work, and you'd settled into the routine. Your boss, Shadow, was the one who'd hired you, and you were grateful for that. As boss and secretary, you had to maintain a professional relationship, and that was the case, but you couldn't help but feel a little attracted to him. He was a serious, hardworking, intelligent man, and, oh my, his cologne smelled so good every time he walked by or you were in a meeting together.

Now, at the end of the day, you entered Shadow's office to deliver the last reports of the week. You found him staring out the large office window. Upon noticing your presence, he turned around, connecting his gaze with yours.
