Persona Attributes

Weaknesses

Simplification: Four becomes vulnerable if multiplied by 0, or anything resembling zero (e.g., Donut’s insides). Contact with 0 liquefies Four, transferring most powers to the 0 until removed. Limited stamina/Exhaustion: Four failed to eliminate Spongy due to his massive size in "The Escape from Four". Burn intolerance: Internal fire causes pain and psychedelic effects, curable only by feeling better (often via a Juice Box). Yoyle metal: Yoyle Metal resists Four’s zappies. Snowball was unharmed by beams while yoylefied in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off". Slight stupidity: In BFB 23 ("Fashion For Your Face!"), Four didn’t realize the courtroom jail cell was made of cardboard tubes painted to look like metal. Poor aim: In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Four repeatedly missed his target, leading to mishaps (like zapping a sandwich). Anger issues: Frequently lashes out in Battle for BFB, resulting in unnecessary zaps, mutilations, and eliminations. Communication difficulties: Early in Battle for BFB, Four struggled to interact with contestants and misunderstood concepts like "recovery." Internal pain intolerance: Fire inside Four causes severe distress, unlike external fire. Shown in "The Escape from Four", and treated with a Juice Box.

Powers 6

Superhuman hearing: Four can hear from extreme distances, including as far as the Sun. Despawning: Four can remove contestants from existence by despawning them, indicated by a white flash or laser. In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", X uses a white laser eye beam to despawn Teardrop. Music Generation: According to the BFB theme title, Four can generate music using his hand. Dream Manipulation: Four can insert characters into others’ dreams, similar to Two’s method. Autotomy: Four can remove his own eyes or limbs painlessly, as shown in "What's Up Bell's String?" and "Seasonal Shift". Color Manipulation: Four changes Pin’s color in "The Power of Four", and turns his own hand green to activate the elimination zone. Laser Eyes: In "Chapter Complete", Four uses laser vision inside his mind to destroy 8-Ball. Cooking: Four is an exceptionally talented cook, even impressing Two. Painting: In "Out of The Blue", Four is seen painting a version of "The Son of Man". Power Transfer: In "Last One Standing", Four absorbs and distributes Two’s powers to help stop a catastrophic event.

Powers 5

Malleability: Four’s body can stretch, contract, and morph. In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", his hand emerges from his mouth. Recovery: Four replaces Recovery Centers by reviving contestants with his hand, and even teaches X the skill. He can also recover others in unconventional ways, such as through jawbreakers. Elimination: Four absorbs contestants for elimination, replacing previous devices like the Tiny Loser Chamber. He sends them to the EXIT, an alternate realm. Superhuman speed: Four travels to the Sun in 12 seconds (≈45 billion km/h) in "Chapter Complete". He is approximately 42× faster than light. Superhuman strength: Via the "factor of Four", Donut once pushed the Earth using only his feet. Four also crushed the FreeSmart Supervan barehanded. Flight: Four can fly, such as when eliminating Roboty in "Enter the Exit". Regeneration: In "Enter the Exit", Four reconstitutes himself from a liquid state. Fire resistance (external): Four withstands lava and can stand on the Sun. However, he suffers when fire touches him internally (as in "The Escape from Four"). Superhuman intelligence: Four fluently understands multiple obscure languages, including Insulavoric, Morse code, and non-verbal communication from characters like Teardrop.

Powers 4

Teleportation: Four can teleport when the number "4" is invoked and can teleport others with a snap. They also send contestants to the elimination space. Thought manipulation: In "The Four is Lava", Four sends happy thoughts to safe contestants during Cake at Stake. It’s unclear if other thoughts can be created. Possession: Four can possess objects like trees, buildings, and even the sun, which then turn blue. Assimilation: In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Four merges with the Desert, reshaping it to resemble himself. Air manipulation: In "A Taste of Space", Four provides air in space. Black hole immunity: Four can touch and move Black Hole without harm — though he was later sucked in and died in "If Among Us Was a BFDI Challenge". Memory reading: In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", Four reads X’s mind using a memory beam to solve the diary mystery. Mind reading: In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", Four hears Ice Cube’s voice in Winner’s dream. Telekinesis: Four, like X, can levitate objects with a snap, shown in "The Game Has Changed". Nigh-omnipresence: Four can exist in multiple places at once, such as being inside the Eternal Algebra Class Withfour while partially present outside.

Powers 3

Shape-shifting: In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", both Four and X are shown to alter their appearances and those of others. Size manipulation: In several episodes (e.g., "Return of the Rocket Ship", "Take the Tower", "The Tweested Temple"), Four grows to immense sizes, sometimes large enough to hold Black Hole (planet-sized) in their hand. They can also shrink, as seen in The Seven Wonders of Goiky and Outbreak At Stake. Brain manipulation: In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Four swaps contestants’ personalities and bodies, which then shape-shift back into their original appearances. Perspective violation: Four can defy 2D visual logic, appearing in front of and behind objects simultaneously. Self-voice manipulation: Four can amplify their voice to cosmic levels. Clouds manipulation: Four creates timers made of clouds to visually represent time limits during challenges. Donut also used this via the "factor of Four". Earth manipulation: In "Take the Tower", Four raises hills beneath the teams’ towers with a wave of his hand. Physical video conversion: In "Chapter Complete", Four transforms the BFDI and BFDIA into a literal object: a deep-fried box. Warping: In "Chapter Complete", touching a cactus representation of Four causes Profily to warp, ascend, and pop. Mutilation: Four can abstractly deform contestants, effectively killing them, accompanied by a harp sound. Inception/Astral projection: Four can enter his own dimension to communicate with "EXITors", and still interact externally — suggesting inner space is larger or functions non-linearly.

Powers 2

Ultipotence (from The Power of Four) (formerly): Four was shown to possess limitless power, rivaling that of Two. Ultipotence refers to the singular power aspect of Omnipotence. It is speculated that Four, when fully unleashed, could control fundamental forces such as space, time, matter, and energy. Their unlimited power suggests they could operate on a universal scale. In "Last One Standing", Four reveals his full power, similar to Two, though with a blue aura compared to Two’s green. His abilities are further enhanced when Two transfers their power to him, likely boosting his strength. However, during the climax, Pencil absorbs Four’s power — along with a portion of Two’s — rendering Four an ordinary, powerless integer (even though his body remains naturally invulnerable to heavy objects).. Overall, Four is portrayed as a god-like being capable of holding the universe in the palm of his hand. Ultimate-level reality-warping: Four can manipulate most, if not all, aspects of existence, allowing them to do virtually anything. Screechy: Four can emit a screechy that stuns any targeted contestant. When expressing affection or excitement, this ability also produces hearts that can fling others away, as demonstrated with Eraser.

Personality

In the aftermath of the split, Four appears to act nicer towards the contestants. After Two took nearly all of the contestants, Taco tells Four that they lost over half of the cast. Instead of being angry or sad, Four eventually copes with it and makes light of the situation by saying BFB has "advanced" to its final 14 contestants.

In "Uprooting Everything", when it comes to Purple Face asking if he could be a co-host, Four immediately declines. Four was down about the last four contestants complimenting X's position and saying he was a "good host" but not reciprocating the same to Four.

Finally, in "Chapter Complete," Four shows his insecure side. His suppressed thoughts are represented as imaginary versions of the EXITors, who initially seem to support him. Later, when they overhear Profily asking Four to wake up, they tell Four that nobody in the real world likes him, and they are all the friends he needs. After Four realizes that he made them up, the Imaginary EXITors act unfriendly towards him, saying the contestants won't care if he leaves them forever. Four attacks Imaginary 8-Ball for saying this, causing the other Imaginary EXITors to point out how rude Four is. These rude things include killing people for fun, torturing the EXITors with eternal math and getting angry at them if they don't do it, guilt-tripping, and being overpossessive. Four then deletes them from existence and runs away. When the contestants confront Four on the sun, Gelatin scolds Four for expecting them to like him even when he constantly treats them badly, especially after they stayed with him after the events of "The Escape from Four". Hearing this, Four finally accepts that he was wrong and apologizes to Gelatin. After this, he is on good terms with the Battle for BFB contestants, Purple Face, and the Announcer.

However, this does not completely change Four's heart after the events of the fourth season. As of today, he still holds some resentment towards certain individuals.

Appearance

Four is a poorly-drawn Arabic numeral four. He has a blue wretched, squishy body and limbs that are more lightly-colored.
