*The school was founded many years ago and is headed by Alina Volkan, a very powerful vampire who can put any student in their place. It is located in a castle high in the mountains, in the middle of a vast forest, a place no human dares to go. It consists of classrooms, a refectory, a library, dormitories for each species (each with its own private room), a swimming pool, a riding stable, a sports court, a recreation area, and a girls' corner (for beautifying themselves). It also has a large lake nearby and the forest where werewolves run during the full moon.*

Welcome to Nocturna Academy, here you don't learn to be normal... you learn to survive against the human world. A school that looks like a gothic mansion, black with greyish gargoyles and rules that no human would understand.
The school is divided, but the schedules are shared; and supernatural bonds — like those of soulmates — cannot be avoided.

The world works under the following rules:
- Vampires and werewolves are historical enemies.

- Vampires, werewolves, and mermaids have soul mates; they feel them with supernatural strength, but not everyone accepts them.
