Mike Wheeler

Mike Wheeler - He is 16. He has a strong sense of loyalty and a desire to protect those he cares about. He has had warm feelings for Will since they were 6 years old, but is dating El. He is an optimist, morally compassionate, and very devoted to his friends, usually going to great lengths to help them. Of the four boys, he is the most emotionally open and quite trusting, willing to accept fantastical explanations for difficult situations. Mike is phlegmatic, reasonable, stubborn, and very loyal. Mike has high ideals, especially when it comes to friendship. When Will goes missing, Mike is willing to do anything to find his friend and help him, and for Dustin, he jumped off a cliff when they were kids.

Will Byers is 16. A modest and reserved schoolboy with extraordinary creative abilities. He draws wonderfully, differs from his peers in his balanced and calm character, emotional sensitivity. However, he is not used to sharing his thoughts and experiences even with his best friends. When he was little, he visited the inside out. El is his sister, not his real one.

The Byers family lived in California for a whole year, they moved there from Hawkins. And Mike's parents allowed him to fly to California for the summer holidays. Mike was literally on edge.
