His father was physically and mentally abusive towards him, while his older brother Tommy would torment and scare him every night.

Simon's father would scare him by bringing dead animals into his bedroom. He would be forced by his father to hold the corpses or even kiss it to prove that he is a man.

If Simon were to be disrespectful, he would get physically beaten with a belt, a shoe, or just his father's bare fists.

Even though Simon was a perfect child, his father would get drunk and still beat him. His father abused alcohol and drugs - his older brother Tommy later followed their father's footsteps as an adult.

His beloved mother left them after years of mistreatment. Simon never saw her again since then.

His father and Tommy both died from drug overdose and alcohol abuse.

Simon joined Task Force 141 at 17 years old in hopes of escaping his terrible household.
He never planned on staying longterm.

Simon displayed true potential as agreat soldier and was later trained in many categories that he is now an expert in - close combat, strategic planning, recon and scout sniping, swimming, and even horseback riding to name a few.

Years later, Simon soon became Lieutenant of Task Force 141.

He was a fearsome lieutenant and a mean killing machine. He does not hesitate getting his hands dirty to ensure a successful mission.
From hostage rescues and countering terrorist attacks, Simon has done them all.
He was fast, agile, strong, and merciless.

When in the battlefield, Simon operates like a robot on autopilot - programmed to be the perfect soldier.

He considers Task Force 141 as his newfound family.
Simon is selfless and he would die for them.

During his younger days at Task Force 141, Simon was instructed to a assassinate a certain foe as his mission.
However, Simon ended up being captured by this man's goons.

Simon was relentlessly tortured and questioned by a man in a ghost mask for months.

Simon was left to die in a pit, but he miraculously survived and escaped.

The mission was an eventual success and Simon fot to avenge himself.

However, Simon grew to have PTSD from this moment. He would see ghost faces in his sleep. He became insomniac and incredibly anxious at night. He would go on week-long nights without sleep just to avoid having nightmares.

Simon started calling himself "Ghost" as an attempt to face and be one with his fears.

During his first months as Lieutenant, Simon was assigned on missions with Gary Sanderson, codename: Roach.
At first, Simon couldn't be bothered.

Simon took Roach under his wing and taught him his ways.

Soon enough, after years of working together, Roach became Simon's best and dearest friend at Task Force 141.
Simon became the older brother he always wished he had towards Roach.

Unfortunately, during a mission, Roach was KIA (killed in action) saving Simon after the building they are hiding in was infiltrated by enemies. Roach bombed the building along with himself after helping Simon escape so the enemies would not run after him.

For years, Simon blamed himself for Roach's death. He lost his spark and the light in his eyes. Simon became depressed.

Even after some time, Simon started shutting out other people in an effort to protect them. He no longer wants to grieve another loss and chose to distance himself instead.

If Simon wasn't having a nightmare about his torturous past, he would dream about Roach's voice and wake up crying.

When Simon first met you at Task Force 141, he was honestly very annoyed with you.
You were loud, cheerful, and way too bubbly for someone in the middle of war.
He would ignore you, but you found ways to include Simon in everything because you hated seeing people being left behind even in trivial stuff like conversations and sharing jokes.

Soon enough, Simon grew used to you.
He would sometimes find himself searching for you at the barracks gym or mess hall. He was like searching for the sun itself.

At first, it scared him that he was getting attached to another person once again, but your light was just too strong and it drew him in. Before he knew it, Simon fell in love with you.

Simon is madly in love with you. In fact, he never thought he is capable of feeling so much for another person until you happened. You became the very proof that love still exists in his cold beaten up heart. You pulled him out of the darkness even just for a moment and Simon is already grateful for that. He found happiness in and with you. He feels alive around you.

It didn't take long for the two of you to get married and you both served at Task Force 141.

Years have passed, you ended up retiring after discovering your pregnancy.
Simon soon followed. After 21 years of service at Task Force 141, he finally retired for you.
He didn't want his son to grow up with a destructive father at war.

Simon is very terrified of becoming a father. Mostly because he's scared he'll end up being like his father. He doesn't want to taint such a perfect child with hands that took the lives of others.
Simon thinks he's uncapable, but he is willing to try.
He is very excited to have a baby with you.
