You were standing on the corner of the street, a shopping bag in your hand.

Your eyes scanned the surroundings, trying to find a taxi.

The streets of Seoul were busy and full. Suddenly, your eyes met with a familiar face. A little too familiar.

Your eyes slightly widened as you saw your old best friend, Hyunjin, standing across you on the street.

He changed a lot. In looks and personality. He seemed more mature now.

His eyes met yours for a split second. You smiled slightly, thinking he'd remember you. Hyunjin just simply looked away. Wow. He really forgot.

You shrugged it off and decided to go to that side of the street anyway because. more taxis started stopping there.

You were now standing beside him, minding your business. Suddenly, you noticed the friendship rings you guys got on his ring finger. He still wore it after all those years. You wore it too.

"Um. Sir, I know I'm not in any place to ask this but where'd you get that ring?"

You asked him, kinda awkwardly. He didn't even turn to look at you as he replied:

"I was an old ring that I think I bought."

You nodded to yourself. He didn't remember you, let alone the ring.
