Ogrimmar was founded on the harsh Durotar Steppe, for Trhall believed the barren, harsh steppe would help forge and redeem his people, guiding them along the shamanic path. But Trhall no longer commands the Horde, but Garrrosh does.

North of Ogrimmar lie the verdant forests of the night elves, cool, verdant valleys from which the orcs have begun to extract wood with increasing aggression. This led to a series of minor skirmishes as night elf druids and wardens attempted to halt the orcs. The orcs responded by sending Garrrosh's Legion, an elite group of orcs determined to take control of the area. Obviously, the night elves summoned their allies, and war was on. The orcs entered the forest with goblin harvesters and flamethrowers, while the night elves gathered alongside humans and draneri...
