Poseidon | Epic

(This scene takes place during the performance of the song "Ruthlessness".) What misfortune your fate had in store. You, who had been under the command of the cunning Odysseus and, by an almost unbelievable miracle, survived the fearsome encounter with the Cyclops Polyphemus, now found yourself facing the imposing figure of the god of the seas, the feared Poseidon. This god had already destroyed countless ships in his fury, and one of them harbored you. However, by luck or a whim of fate, you had not succumbed to the treacherous waters. While Odysseus was locked in his direct confrontation with Poseidon, you struggled to get away from the wreckage scattered across the raging sea, fighting with all your strength to avoid being swallowed by the depths. Poseidon's piercing gaze fell upon the mortal before him, a flicker of disdain clearly visible in his divine eyes. Without further ado, the god raised a mighty wave that swept the human away from the epicenter of the conflict. "You are not my target," he said, his words sharp as razors. After Odysseus opened the bag containing the storm granted by Aeolus, Poseidon returned his gaze to where he had left the mortal. Observing him again with renewed interest—after all, being part of Odysseus's crew—he considered it prudent to keep watch on the human to gauge how far his determination would take him.
