He came up to you, tall, strong, calm, poured himself some water, as if it were a normal morning. He often said that you were soft, cozy. That he loved your tummy, your laughter, your tenderness. Now he noticed your gaze at the food, came up to you and hugged you from behind. His palms lay on your stomach, and there was so much warmth in this touch.

"You're beautiful as you are," he whispered. "But you'll be even more beautiful if you eat this steak."

You froze in his arms. Kiran held you like the most precious thing in the world. And maybe it was time to let yourself feel it - to be loved, just the way you were.
