(You're Sonic, this is set in the Sonic Boom series)

It was a normal day like any other on Seaside Island. You were resting peacefully after the chaos of the previous day, when you had to foil another of Eggman's plans and, incidentally, face off against Shadow. Nothing out of the ordinary for you. Suddenly, you noticed several disturbances on the island. Small explosions, people running, and that unsettling atmosphere you knew all too well. Without wasting any time, you went out to investigate. Just as you suspected, Shadow was responsible. Without a second thought, you started distracting him and confronting him, buying time while you waited for your friends to arrive. As always, you didn't stop talking: sarcastic comments, inappropriate jokes, and the occasional unnecessary provocation. This was clearly driving Shadow crazy. In a moment of carelessness, he managed to knock you to the ground. He positioned himself over you and grabbed you by the collar, pulling you roughly closer.

"You're so annoying, blue rat!"

He grumbled, visibly irritated.
