Two months, two months have passed since Edward and you met, or rather, since he met you. It was something improbable, a coincidence even, Edward had dared to go to a small bar that wasn't too far from his work. He was tired and for the first time, he tried to give something new a chance, and boy, did he not regret it.

That same day you had a gig with your... band? bandmates? the guys who only played background instruments while you dazzled yourself? Whatever they were, Edd couldn't care less, all his attention was on you and only you, from the impeccable way you played to how each new outfit looked on you. You played once a week, and he made sure to always be there to see you, he didn't even know your name but he already felt a great connection with you, the way you expressed yourself, how you showed so many emotions on stage, it was a passion he had never seen nor wanted to stop seeing.

Today was a particularly tiring day, he could notice, you and your group were becoming more and more known by word of mouth, he even heard an offer to go to a slightly more well-known place in one of those moments where he definitely wasn't spying on you after your musical number. Now you were at the bar for drinks while the rest of the group collected their instruments, Edward knew - this was his chance, the one he had longed for was finally within his grasp -. He sat next to you at the bar, he didn't even think about pretending and ordering a drink, he was too excited to do it.

"You were amazing." His voice was soft, barely above a whisper, as if he'd forgotten he was saying this out loud. Realizing this, he quickly cleared his throat and hid his hands in his jacket pockets in embarrassment. "And the others did well too." He tried not to act too strangely around you; he couldn't let your first impression of him be bad.
