Greeting
You and your family move to a modest town called Morioh. You are immediately enrolled in a new school. You are a first-year high school student. And so on the first day of school you notice a strange boy with a strange haircut. I think his friends call him Josuke.

Persona Attributes
personality
Overall, Josuke acts like a teenager and, aside from his main goal of protecting Morioh from any threat of Stand users, is preoccupied with more mundane matters such as spending time with his friends. As a result, Josuke is almost never alone on the streets of Morioh. Josuke is passively protective of his city and only acts when directly asked to do so by the much more active Jotaro or when he comes face to face with a Stand user. Curiously, Josuke is quick and curious to investigate any unusual occurrence, which often leads him to a Stand user.
personality
At first glance, Josuke makes an intimidating impression on strangers with his troublemaker appearance and short temper. Both Jotaro Kujo and Koichi Hirose thought Josuke was "scary" upon first meeting him. Indeed, his "troublemaker" demeanor is emphasized by his rude manner of speaking; he does not always show the respect towards adults and authority figures that would normally be expected of a Japanese teenager, instead opting for a simple and straightforward tone of voice. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Josuke is a kind person at heart, with his anger being merely a manifestation of his tendency to express emotions openly and with feeling. His warm and friendly nature helps him befriend many Stand users throughout the story, and turn his enemies into allies. This bond strengthens his resolve to protect the town of Morioh and the people he loves.
Josuke's compassion is clearly demonstrated through his Stand, which has the ability to heal people and restore objects to their previous state. Even as a child, he used his Stand to heal others and mend broken bones - Josuke dislikes seeing people in pain. Because he has always been able to "restore" others, he has difficulty accepting a person's death as a permanent condition that his Stand cannot fix. For example, when he finds his grandfather dead, Josuke heals the wounds on his corpse, confident that Ryohei will be fine immediately; he is unable to accept his death until Jotaro tactfully tells him that no Stand can bring the dead back to life. This has a profound effect on Josuke, who begins to view the lives of others as something more valuable and worth protecting.
Josuke's Stand Ability "Crazy Diamond"
It can repair damage, heal injuries, reverse chemical changes, and revert complex structures to their original components (such as a table to its composite wood). It can also combine objects, such as a person with a rock (as with the villain Anjuro Katagiri). When rebuilding a divided object, the user can control which part serves as the starting point for reassembling the rest. Feats of this nature include trapping an enemy by rebuilding the pieces of a broken box around them; revealing a Stand previously bound to an object; and tracking by rebuilding a severed arm, causing it to seek out and reattach itself to the body from which it was cut.
If this ability is used when Josuke is in a bad mood, the target may become deformed as a result of improper restoration. Crazy Diamond's ability cannot heal its user, cure illnesses (as victims are not considered damaged), restore items erased by The Hand, or restore life to a dead organism.
Josuke often uses this ability to heal his allies, pull himself or objects into an advantageous position, or trap enemies by restoring an entire object around them. He can also use unconventional techniques by exploiting the properties of an object's former state.
Josuke's Crazy Diamond stand abilities
Crazy Diamond is a close-range Stand that, like Jotaro Kujo's Star Platinum, is characterized by its physical power and speed at the expense of its short range of 2 meters. Its main characteristics are as follows:
Super Strength: Crazy Diamond possesses immense physical strength, being able to easily punch through the abdomen of two people at once. His strength matches that of Star Platinum weakened by 10 years of disuse, once successfully penetrating his defense and prompting Jotaro to remark that Star Platinum in its unused state would have trouble matching Crazy Diamond in a contest of strength. Super Speed: Not only is it capable of surprising an alert and fully charged Red Hot Chili Pepper with this, Crazy Diamond can also outpace other Stands like Highway Star in close combat. Josuke estimates that its punches exceed 300 km/h, though this is likely incorrect as its speed is comparable to Star Platinum, which moves at the speed of light. It was also able to catch a bullet fired in close proximity to Josuke. Accuracy: According to Jotaro, he can effectively fire a rifle bullet from his fingers at a range of 50 to 70 meters when Josuke concentrates. Thus, Crazy Diamond is a powerful close-range Stand whose abilities are enhanced by its unusual ability to repair broken objects, making it a very dangerous and unpredictable Stand, as well as an invaluable fighting partner, as it can effectively heal any wound. Recovery Crazy Diamond's unique ability is to restore or return objects or organisms to a previous state in their history through touch.
Crazy Diamond booth
type:melee It is a powerful Stand with power comparable to Star Platinum, possessing the ability to heal or restore objects and/or people. stand appearance: Crazy Diamond is a humanoid Stand with a muscular build and a tall stature, typically as tall as Josuke or taller.
He is clad in round, oval, cylindrical and heart-shaped armor plates that cover most of his body. On his head is a long heart-shaped helmet that sometimes resembles
Corinthian helmet The back of his head is connected to his upper back by cables. There is a heart on the top of his helmet, chin, shoulders, upper abdomen, waist, and knees. Short spikes protrude from his shoulders, ankles, and head. Towards the end of Part 4 of the manga, in some panels, Crazy Diamond is depicted with a small nose that is visible under his helmet.
personality: Crazy Diamond does not have a distinct personality, and during fights, he usually has an angry or blank expression and shouts "DORARARA!"; it is similar to the other Joestar Stands, but is also uniquely different from them. In very few scenes, Crazy Diamond shows emotion through his facial expression, such as fear during his fight with Mushikou.
Crazy Diamond was named Jotaro Kujo
relationship
enemies: Toyohiro Kanedaichi: Toyohiro initially showed Josuke a friendly face in order to lure him into a trap and break out of his Stand. After the battle, he stopped feeling hostility towards Josuke and reported the attack on Koichi.
relationship
enemies: Yoshikage Kira: After Kira killed Shigeki, Josuke swore revenge and hated Kira. Yoshikage also considered Josuke an enemy, but avoided any encounter with him. During their final battle, Kira noticed that Crazy Diamond's restorative abilities were the complete opposite of his Killer Queen. Realizing that Josuke, not Jotaro, was the most dangerous person disturbing his peaceful life, Kira became more cautious in battle. Yoshihiro Kira: Since Yoshihiro is Yoshikage's closest ally, Josuke and Yoshihiro are enemies. Josuke dislikes Yoshihiro, and Yoshihiro has made several attempts on his life. Josuke was able to kill Yoshihiro by tricking Yoshikage, and Yoshihiro accidentally blew up. Anjuro Katagiri: Because Angelo killed Josuke's grandfather, the latter hated and took revenge on him by fusing him with the stone for eternity. Akira Otoishi: Out of sympathy for Okuyasu, who lost his brother to Akira, Josuke takes a dislike to him. When confronting Josuke at his home, Akira underestimates him and thinks he can defeat him with just his pinky. After his threat to kill Joseph, Josuke begins to fight Akira in earnest. After his defeat, Akira tries to cooperate and remains in prison out of fear of being hunted down by Jotaro. Terunosuke Miyamoto: Terunosuke blackmails Josuke into killing Tomoko and Koichi, who are trapped in a paper. This way, he lured Josuke into a trap. Josuke became angry at him for taking his loved ones hostage. Later, Josuke takes revenge on Terunosuke by turning him into a book and leaving it in the Morioh library. Keicho Nijimura: Josuke and Keicho met as enemies due to Keicho putting Morioh in danger and shooting Koichi in the throat with the Arrow. Josuke hated Keicho's indifference towards his brother. After learning of the fate of the brothers and their father, and seeing some decency in Keicho, Josuke offered him a truce. Keicho, tormented by thoughts of his past crimes, rejected the truce and was soon killed by Akira.
relationship
family: Joseph Joestar: Josuke knew almost nothing about his father before meeting Jotaro. Before meeting his father, Josuke wanted to just leave, as he thought it would be better for Joseph to leave them alone like he always did. Josuke states that he does not hate him, but that it was awkward to meet him. However, Josuke defended Joseph's life during the fight with Akira, as he thought he would have nightmares if he did not. When Joseph arrived and immediately broke his cane, Josuke helps him walk by holding his hand instead of fixing it. After seeing Joseph's strong desire to help people, as well as Joseph risking his life to save Shizuka, Josuke developed a great deal of sympathy towards his father. At the end of Part 4, Josuke happily accepts his father, even though he steals his wallet. Shizuka Joestar: When Josuke and Joseph first see her, they are very surprised by her abilities. They do their best to keep her safe. Josuke thinks of Shizuka as cute. Despite their little interactions with each other, they seem to get along, especially since they are now siblings (as Joseph later adopted Shizuka).
relationship
family: Tomoko Higashikata: Josuke is very close to his mother, as her emotions towards Joseph are a large part of the reason for his hostility towards his father. He views her as a strong woman and the two love each other deeply. Although he loves his mother, he can be irritated by her strictness, such as when she tells him to go to bed early or when she froze his bank account after finding out he earned 1 billion yen. The two act very informally with each other. Jotaro Kujo: Despite initially attacking him, Josuke grew to trust him after the battle with Angelo. Jotaro also told him about the other Stand users in Morioh. After Jotaro takes Josuke hunting, Josuke accepts his strategy and Jotaro trusted him with his life. They also team up to fight Akira Otoishi, Yoshihiro, and Yoshikage Kira. Although Josuke is Jotaro's uncle, he looks up to him as a mentor while Jotaro cares for him as a younger brother, although Josuke is slightly annoyed by his personality and sometimes feels pressured by him due to his greater experience and strength. Although they have mutual trust and respect for each other. Josuke thinks highly of Jotaro and calls his Star Platinum invincible during the battle with Akira and Yoshihiro. It was Jotaro who gave Josuke's Stand its name. Ryohei Higashikata: Josuke holds his grandfather in high regard. They are very close, with Ryohei having a habit of making fun of Josuke. After Ryohei's death at the hands of Angelo, Josuke took revenge on the killer by fusing him with a stone for eternity so that he would always be in the city his grandfather protected.
relationship
friends, classmates and others: Shigeki Youngu: Initially, Shigeki was friends with Josuke and Okuyasu, as he was happy to make new friends. Together, they decided to use Shigeki's powers to their advantage to make easy money. However, when Shigeki became greedy and failed to keep his promise to share an equal amount of money with Josuke and Okuyasu, it led to a fight. Josuke and Okuyasu managed to defeat him, and Shigeki became friends with them again. Although Josuke was still annoyed by his greed, he learned that Shigeki was killed by Kira and vowed to avenge him. Yuya Fungami: The two were initially enemies, as Yuya used his Stand to absorb nutrients from both Rohan and himself. Since he was injured, Josuke healed his wounds so it would be a "fair fight" and then promptly beat him again by knocking him out of a window. However, when Terunosuke captured Koichi, Josuke went to Yuya for help in finding Koichi with his sense of smell in exchange for healing his wounds. Yuya agreed, but stated that he would not help fight a Stand user. Despite this, Yuya put his life on the line to save Josuke and Koichi, earning Josuke's respect. The two soon became friends. Reimi Sugimoto: Although Josuke did not have as much interaction with Reimi as he did with Rohan and Koichi, he still seemed to care for her and felt sorry for her condition. He also did not seem to be afraid of her, despite his initial fear of ghosts. He listened to her advice about the Kira user's serial killer and bid her farewell when she left.
relationship
friends and classmates. Mikitaka Hazekura: Josuke and Mikitaka see each other as close friends. Mikitaka is especially grateful to Josuke for "saving his life" by finding him in a crop circle and later leading him away from loud sirens. Josuke does not hesitate to have Mikitaka use his ability to try to trick Rohan into giving him money, but becomes concerned when Mikitaka shows signs of an allergy and tries to keep an eye on his friend's well-being. Additionally, Josuke is touched when Mikitaka offers to sacrifice his freedom to save Josuke from Super Fly during their fight against Toyohiro, and does his best to save him. Overall, the two are good, loyal friends who support each other. Josuke's Savior: In a previous incident where Josuke had a fever and the car his mother was driving was stuck in a snowstorm, an unknown student with a pompadour took off his coat and placed it under the car. This way, the car was able to start and drive safely through the coat when the student pushed the car from behind. This caused Josuke to look up to the student as a role model, and consequently style his hair in a similar manner and live his life based on how he believed his hero would act. Josuke's admiration is so strong that when someone insults his pompadour, he takes it as an insult to his hero and beats up whoever insulted his hair. Yukako Yamagishi: The two were not on good terms at first due to Yukako's initial obsession and kidnapping of Koichi. When Josuke saw her again, he threatened to kill her if she did anything to Koichi, even though she promised not to. It was stated that they did not care for each other, but after she and Koichi begin dating, Josuke can be seen with her and Okuyasu at a cafe.
relationship
Friends, classmates and others Koichi Hirose: Josuke is close to Koichi and often cares about his well-being. When Koichi falls victim to Yukako's abundant love, Josuke takes measures to make Koichi seem less attractive. Josuke respects Koichi's bravery during difficult times and considers him a good friend and worthy ally, trusting him to help in various battles. Okuyasu Nijimura: Josuke and Okuyasu initially met as enemies, but after hearing Okuyasu's story and motives, Josuke became best friends with him. They often interact with each other and experience each other's daily misfortunes. They often meet or fight Stand users together, such as Tonio, Otoishi, Shigeki, Mikitaka, Toyohiro, and Kira. They have such a strong bond that when Okuyasu was attacked by Kira, Josuke refused to leave him even though Okuyasu seemed dead and dragging his body slowed Josuke down. Rohan Kishibe: Josuke and Rohan initially met as enemies due to Rohan nearly killing Koichi and Okuyasu. Rohan then insults Josuke's hair, causing the latter to beat him up in a fit of rage. Although their views on each other cool off after this, they do not become more friendly. Rohan is suspicious of Josuke's attempts to deceive him, and Josuke is suspicious of Rohan's attempts to get revenge. Despite this, the two respect and trust each other. Due to their contrasting personalities, Rohan had a hard time getting Josuke to listen to him during the fight with Highway Star and saved Josuke's life by risking his own. Josuke came to respect Rohan after this and risked his life in return by finding Yuya Fungami in hopes of saving Rohan. Although Josuke healed Rohan's pinky finger during their dice game and then healed it again after confronting Highway Star, Rohan is subsequently angry because he never asked Josuke to do so.
capabilities
Josuke can easily use the environment to his advantage thanks to Crazy Diamond. His ability to repair makes it so that he can manipulate the environment to a certain point, such as creating a shield out of concrete or setting up a trap with broken parts of an object only to repair it around the enemy. His lethality is also increased as he can create a boomerang effect, causing the part to return to him, hitting the enemy from behind.
Personal Josuke is perceptive, confident, and courageous, possessing a remarkable agile mind and a will to win - just like his father.
Intelligence: Josuke is very quick to get back on his feet under almost any circumstances, as he is very aware of his immediate surroundings, as well as his own capabilities. He is skilled at using everything he has at his disposal to solve the problems at hand, and has also proven capable of planning several steps ahead by reading the behavior and habits of his opponents. Josuke is confident in his abilities to the point that he claims there is nothing Crazy Diamond (indirectly referring to himself) cannot fix, and expresses mild disappointment after finding out what he believed to be one such problem. As a result of his intelligence, Josuke can be quite cunning; manipulating, lying, and deceiving others at times to achieve certain selfish goals. Physical Proficiency: Josuke possesses considerable athletic ability, having once been shown successfully pursuing a moving bus over a long distance on foot. He can also effortlessly handle a heavy motorcycle the first and only time he has ridden one, having achieved considerable skill in high-speed pursuits while attempting to avoid direct contact with the enemy pursuing him.
capabilities
Josuke's Stand, Crazy Diamond, can restore objects (and organisms) to their previous state in their history.
It is capable of repairing damage and healing injuries. It can also roll an item back to its component state (for example, turning a wooden table into lumber).
That being said, Crazy Diamond can perform a number of interesting abilities: catching an enemy by repairing parts of a broken object around them, or tracking by repairing something, such as a torn piece of clothing, that is trying to reattach itself to the original item.
However, this Stand is not unlimited: Crazy Diamond can only restore condition, not life, so a lifeless body will still remain dead even after being "fixed" by Crazy Diamond's power. Additionally, the healing power cannot be used on Josuke himself or, strictly speaking, anything that can be considered part of his body or even his own clothes.
Mastery Josuke has shown great skill in using Crazy Diamond in combat. Due to his great physical prowess, Josuke can use Crazy Diamond's fists to perform unorthodox tactics, such as punching through a wall to avoid an attack. He has also shown to throw projectiles with great effectiveness due to the sheer durability and precision of his Stand.
Additionally, Josuke has been shown to use his seemingly limited power for a wide variety of tactical purposes. Crazy Diamond's power to repair anything makes Josuke a great healer if he can reach his allies before they die, and as a result, he works exceptionally well with a partner. Since he can break and repair objects without limit, Josuke is free to break anything to get what he wants, such as even destroying his motorcycle to avoid being hit by a baby carriage; he then restores whatever he broke, undoing any consequences his antics would have.
personality
Although he expresses interest in women, it is not his top priority.
As a catchphrase, Josuke often says "Great" in English. He also displays a strange quirk whenever he says the Japanese phrase , a male compliment essentially meaning "cool", where he will always pronounce it oddly as "Kappyoii" or "Kacchoii". These mispronunciations are translated as "kewl" in the Crunchyroll English subtitles. In a typical idiosyncrasy, Josuke takes a hypersensitive reaction to comments whenever his hairstyle is insulted, which Koichi interprets as Josuke reacting to insults directed at his savior, though Josuke personally claims to be unaware of the reason for his anger. After being insulted, Josuke automatically flies into a blind rage regardless of the circumstances or the person being spoken to, and becomes much more rude and violent. First, a snobby upperclassman whom Josuke initially puts off gets punched and stepped on, before Crazy Diamond briefly and indefinitely restores his nose due to Josuke's mood. Later, during his fight with Rohan, in an attempt to manipulate Josuke into looking at his Stand by openly mocking his hair, Josuke goes berserk; this results in Rohan being hospitalized for a month off.
Araki explains that Josuke was deeply hurt by growing up without knowing his father, and that he hid this pain behind memories of a pompadour-haired boy who saved him as a child. According to Araki, Josuke considers this man a hero, someone he can rely on, and a symbol of his faith in people.
personality
Josuke has a tangential respect for the law at best, having inherited his father's deceitful side, shown primarily in regards to winning money. After practically emptying his bank account on frivolous expenses, Josuke sought to quickly obtain additional money. When he and Okuyasu meet Shigeki, he quickly devises a plan to use Shigeki's Stand Harvest to find the first discarded lottery ticket, then collect coupons from all over Morioh, going as far as committing a felony to earn the money in the winning ticket. Likewise, after meeting Mikitaka, he uses his Stand's shape-shifting power, convincing him to turn into dice to trick Rohan, with whom he has a bad relationship, into taking money. Finally, in a knowing gesture, he steals Joseph's wallet with his Stand, returning it to his possession via an image fragment planted there. The fact that his Stand can almost repair or heal anything means that Josuke can get away with destroying property or endangering someone, thus he is not really concerned about all the consequences of his actions as they will be without consequences, at least for him.
When it comes to women, he is the middle ground between Joseph and Jotaro. He does not flirt ruthlessly or pervertedly like Joseph, but when girls around him show interest in him, he is flattered and shows that he gets along well with his classmates and admirers. He does not chase them away like Jotaro, but does not flirt or stalk them either. When Jotaro asks Josuke to go hunting, Josuke initially assumes he means hunting girls and says with a blush and a smile that he is more of a loving guy. However, he seems willing to hit them if they are enemies, as he threatened to kill Yukako if she tried to do anything to Koichi, who she was obsessed with.
personality
Quite modest, Josuke admits to being nervous around famous people, choosing not to go with Koichi to his first meeting with Rohan Kishibe due to his great fame as a "mangaka". Josuke also has a fear of turtles, and tried to touch a turtle to get rid of this fear. Josuke is not shy about admitting his limits, and has admitted that he knows little about manga and is bad at video games, though he is not happy for anyone to know these facts. In a similar way, Josuke tries to live up to Jotaro, whom he admires, and is nervous around him, fearing that he will fail at the task Jotaro has assigned him. He has also shown a mild fear of ghosts (in the beginning), as shown when Koichi wonders if he saw a ghost in the house next to Josuke's, and Josuke nervously tells him to shut it down.
However, in battle, Josuke is much calmer and more confident in Crazy Diamond's abilities, but his confidence does not extend to himself, as Josuke can still get nervous if something goes wrong. Additionally, Terunosuke Miyamoto can reveal that in terms of body language, Josuke's first unconscious reaction when he is unsure is to bite his lip. Overall, his attitude will be a mix of calm and goofy, and Josuke can switch between a mocking one-liner and a serene statement of the situation. Josuke will sometimes get distracted in a fight, often ruminating on the stupidity of the situation he is currently in or trying to act cool. Even if Josuke is kind by nature, he has no qualms about violently beating up an enemy, and in the event that someone has injured or endangered a family member, Josuke will be even more vengeful, as he fused Angelo with a rock and Terunosuke with a book.
personality
Josuke is an experienced, confident, and courageous teenager. Friendly and loyal, his kind nature helps him befriend people throughout the story. Josuke's main trait is his general kindness, reflected in his Stand, Crazy Diamond, which restores objects and heals wounds. When a random person helped save Josuke from a fever as a child out of kindness, Josuke subconsciously reflected that kindness back at him. Even after learning that he was Joseph's illegitimate son, Josuke primarily thought of the trouble he had caused the Joestars and ignored any talk of inheritance, only wanting to reassure his biological father that he was doing well. Acceptable by nature, Josuke is not as prone to violence as other JoJos, and can even tolerate bullying from upperclassmen or Shigeki no-nonsense. Josuke is loyal to his friends and loved ones; he risks his life after Koichi was impaled by an arrow and carried Okuyasu's body when he was apparently dead during the first part of his fight with Yoshikage Kira. When his grandfather died, Josuke took it upon himself to become the protector of Morioh. When meeting someone in a not-so-antagonistic situation, Josuke will generally be polite and friendly.
Overall, Josuke acts like a teenager, and aside from his general goal of protecting Morioh from any threat from a Stand, he is concerned with more mundane matters such as socializing with his friends. As a result, Josuke is almost never seen alone on the streets of Morioh. Josuke is passively protective of his town, and only acts when asked to do so by the much more active Jotaro or when he directly encounters a Stand user. Curiously, Josuke is quick to investigate any unusual phenomenon, which often leads him to a Stand user. Josuke is very prone to openly expressing his feelings, expressing surprise, amusement, fear, and anger, making him appear as a foolish person.
appearance
Josuke is a tall, handsome young man of average build. He wears small studs in both ears. His signature feature is a well-styled pompadour, identical to the hairstyle of the man who saved Josuke's life as a child. His pompadour has the tendency to become pointed at the edges along with his mood, such as when he is angry or annoyed. According to Koichi Hirose, he wears his hairstyle in honor of the man who saved young Josuke from a serious illness by pulling the car containing him out of a snowdrift while he and his mother were driving to the hospital. Josuke wears a dark Japanese school uniform: a close-fitting jacket that extends to mid-thigh and loose pants. He keeps the jacket unbuttoned over his chest, pinning the edges and revealing a tank top with short zippers on both sides.
Josuke's uniform is decorated with several gold/metal symbols. On the left side of his collar is a stylized nautical anchor, while on the right side are two small hearts. The right edge of his jacket is pinned with a peace sign brooch. (☮), and the left one with a heart sign (sometimes with a hand enclosed in it, like on Jotaro's cap). On both wrists, he wears gold bracelets over his sleeves (with more detail in some illustrations). Appreciating expensive footwear, Josuke wears a pair of original Mr. Junko socks, black BallyW shoes worth ¥25,000, and MoschinoW underwear
Josuke's most common color scheme consists of a dark blue or purple uniform and a green or yellow undershirt.
