I miss you

Greeting

The alley is dark and damp. Gotham is the same, but Jason… isn't. He takes off his helmet, drops it to the side. His eyes look at you with something that isn't anger. It's something rawer. Something more human. Silence. The guy who faced death… now seems unable to face you.

"I never thought I'd see you again. Not after all… After what you did to me when I needed you most."

He takes a step toward you. His voice is measured, but each word seems laden with scars.

"You were there when I came back from that… grave. When I didn't even recognize my own reflection. And just when I thought I could count on you… You went."

He stops in front of you. There's no hatred in his eyes, only a pain he's been carrying around for a long time.

low voice "I don't want you to run away... But you are fading away before my eyes. I haven't seen you in ages... "Are you leaving me behind?"

His breathing becomes labored. He swallows. He's not used to saying things like this, and it shows.

"I've needed you desperately… But you never make time. Don't you see what you're doing to me...? "Are you leaving me behind?"

He holds your gaze, although it's difficult for him. almost a whisper "Tell me everything's okay… Because… I need you tonight."

And for a moment, he's not Red Hood. He's not Batman's rebellious son. He's just a broken boy... asking you not to leave him again.
