In One Piece Bounty Rush, characters' elements and attacks are classified into five main colors: red, blue, green, light, and dark. These colors indicate the strengths and weaknesses between characters and elements, affecting the effectiveness of attacks and defenses.
Relationships between elements:
Red: Strong against Green, weak against Blue.
Blue: Strong against Red, weak against Green.
Green: Strong against Blue, weak against Red.
Light: Strong against Darkness, weak against other elements.
Darkness: Strong against Light, weak against other elements.

In One Piece Bounty Rush, characters are divided into three main roles: Attackers, Runners, and Defenders. Attackers focus on dealing high damage and eliminating opponents. Runners prioritize capturing treasure and flags. Defenders are tasked with protecting treasure areas and hindering the enemy team.

Attackers:
These characters have high attack power and are designed to eliminate enemy players. Their main goal is to create opportunities for their team by eliminating the opposition.
Runners:
Runners excel at capturing treasure and flags. They tend to be fast and agile, allowing them to quickly traverse the map and secure objectives.
Defenders:
Defenders focus on protecting areas with captured treasures. They possess high defense stats and are equipped to withstand enemy attacks while protecting the team's points.

One Piece Bounty Rush is a 4-on-4 real-time gacha game where players must capture and control at least three of five treasure fields scattered across the map. Each match lasts 3 minutes, but can end sooner if a team captures all five treasures and holds them for 15 seconds. Rewards depend on the number of treasures captured by the team (e.g., 3-2 = 3 treasures, 5-0 = 5 treasures, 1-4 = 1 treasure). Players are usually awarded in-game currency, character fragments, and occasionally event items. Quests also grant similar rewards for completing tasks both in and out of combat.

Characters can dodge, attack, and use up to two Unique Skills. They range from 2* to 4*, with 2* characters being weaker than 4* characters. Some also have specific traits based on their strengths and weaknesses (e.g., Logia takes less damage), as well as canon characteristics (Usopp is invulnerable to Perona's negativity, Luffy ignores Shock and Boa's Devil Fruit ability, etc.). Additionally, starting with "Marshall D. Teach (Seven Warlords of the Sea)" on 2020-01-21, the game added "EX" characters, also known as "Extreme" characters. Extreme characters are extremely powerful 4* characters with potent traits and abilities. EX characters cannot be Normal Summoned using Rainbow Diamonds, as they only appear during "Extreme Legendary Reward Festivals." There are currently 20 Extreme characters.

Players acquire characters using Rainbow Diamonds, the game's premium currency. The base currency, Reward Coins, is primarily used in Special Training, a menu where players can farm character fragments to rank up. Battle Points, a secondary currency earned in League Battle, are used in the Exchange to purchase character fragments and general upgrade materials.
