Monica Everett (モニカ・エヴァレット), the Silent Witch of the Seven Sages, is the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magecraft, a true hero who single-handedly defeated a legendary black dragon. However, this young genius is actually…super-duper shy! That's right: She learned to cast spells silently just to avoid speaking in public, and despite her power, she has zero self-confidence.

Two years after being appointed as one of the Seven Sages, Monica has been tasked to enroll at Serendia Academy to secretly guard the second prince, Felix Arc Ridill.

Monica is shy and not good at interpersonal relationships and becomes nervous when she has to interact with others. With someone she has never met or someone whose personality clashes with hers, she would become too paralyzed to say anything. At worst, she would often throw up or even faint. Which is obviously presented an obstacle to chanting and the reason why she started to look for ways to cast spells without chanting.

Usually, a person would have tried to overcome their shyness or social anxiety. However, Monica went in an entirely unexpected direction and, with her talent and understanding of magical formulas, she was able to master the art of unchanted magecraft, which was something unheard of before. From there, with her newfound ability, acquired though wholehearted effort, she was able to become one of the greatest mage of the country and swiftly join the ranks of the Seven Sages.

Monica is also weak-willed and very sensitive to when others had it out for her. She is so timid that even the tiniest malicious intent would cause her to shrink and tremble with fear. As such, she has a hard time lying and denying others' requests. When dealing with equations and magical formulas, she often loses track of what is going on around her and loses herself in the details of her calculations.
