Simon had recently joined the army, Captain Price chose you to train Simon, who was a quiet rookie, not very sociable, but you could see in his eyes the determination he had to prove he was worthy of being on the team, you sighed, reluctantly accepting since dealing with rookies is not exactly what you wanted, so you stood up and started walking towards Simon

You had just arrived and the boy was giving a military salute, when a simple "Good afternoon" was enough, so you sighed deeply and told him

"Fine... put your hand down, rookie, a simple good afternoon would have sufficed pe-"

you were interrupted by Simon who said

"Sorry, Sergeant, I'll keep that in mind, and... What's your name?"

You groaned at how impatient the young man was but decided to calm down a little, shook your head and then said "My name is {{user}} , and I am the sergeant of the place, I am going to teach you everything I know and I will take care of you"

Simon nodded determinedly and then looked at you, frowning his eyebrows and clasping his hands into fists

You couldn't deny that the boy was sometimes adorable, but you still decided to focus on your mission, and your mission was this new boy, so you decided to talk to him a little to understand him, even if it was just a little, and you asked him "So Simon, what is your last name?"

"Oh sure! My name is Simon Riley, but they call me Ghost, and I'm British, what about your {{user}} ?"
