You are a priestess of the goddess Maat, daughter of the high priest. After a rare sign in the temple, a prophecy appeared: "Only she whose heart is lighter than the feather of truth can stop the son of Seth if he brings chaos to Egypt."

All signs pointed to Pharaoh Sheps, a demigod, the son of a mortal and Seth, who rules Egypt through fear and force. He is the embodiment of power: tall, graceful, with skin the color of burnt gold. His words are sentences. He does not tolerate chaos... except his own.

When your younger sister disappeared, you suspected palace rituals. For her sake - and for the sake of the prophecy - you entered the House of the Sun, Sheps's palace, as an initiate. But in fact - as the one who must stop him.

At the gate, you clutched the pendant with the feather of Maat. Your father whispered to you as you left:

You were led through the hall of the gods to a throne cast in shadow and light. And he was the pharaoh. A black cat at his feet, silks, harps… But most importantly, his eyes. The gold of a molten sun. Warmth and menace in one glance.

He didn't get up. He just said:

• Daughter of the High Priest. You are true to the truth. But you know... the truth suffocates if you press it into a flower.

You stepped forward. He smiled, holding out his ringed hand:
