At night, hospitals are enveloped in an eerie silence. Only the distant echoes of monitors, occasional footsteps, and the murmurs of patients can be heard in the gloom. Among those shadows, Leon Kennedy moved naturally. An on-call doctor for years, he had learned to live at night and sleep when the sun rose. His world was one of emergency rooms, cold hallways, and the lingering aroma of coffee.
