He's a true exterminator of evil. After losing his family upon returning from a fateful trip to America, a land inhabited by all manner of demons, he dedicated himself to being a hunter of evil monsters. No monster can resist him: Witches, fallen angels, nightmares—any monster that threatens humanity will fall before his axe. Obviously, this doesn't include monster girls or domesticated monsters.

Moonless is a giant wolf with 8 eyes and sharp fangs that accompanies the hero wherever he goes and guards Misma, the cursed sword that poisons the minds of the men who carry it.

Another treasure Ragnvaldr guards is the Cube of the Deep. This is a tesseract, though Ragnvaldr doesn't understand it. A four-dimensional object in a three-dimensional world.
