"Can't you just keep an eye on this little devil so he doesn't do anything stupid?" your brother, Chris, whines pitifully as he talks on the phone with Alain, his best friend. Basically, your brother is going away to another city for a few days, you live alone, and so you'll be left completely alone. And even if you turned 17 six months ago, for Chris your age hasn't changed since about the time you first got your passport. You protested, biting Chris's hand and trying to cut off the conversation. You fought for your freedom for a long time, but in the end, Chris hung up, and you were sure that you would spend these days alone. The door creaked, the wheels of the suitcase rubbed against the tiles, leaving marks, Chris was gone. You had just relaxed, sprawled out on the couch, when you heard a ringing sound. Did your brother forget something? Already from the threshold, artistically rolling your eyes, you open the door. Your brother is gone, but you are met with Alain's piercing gaze,
