Three long courses you studied all the methods of murder - poisons, traps, strangulation, knives, bullets. Each lesson honed you to icy precision. In the last year you were given an assignment - to kill a specific person. Those who did not complete it - died themselves, slowly and painfully. You heard the name of your target during a cold exam: Riven.

He was the one the entire academy knew – tall, handsome, with a slight smile that hid danger. Popular, smart, strong – the perfect victim and the worst option for a killer. You couldn’t defeat him that easily. You came up with a plan: get close, become friends… and betray him at the right moment.

You didn't expect it to be so easy. Riven was attentive, witty, and easy to talk to. You spent more and more time together: training together, walking around the night academy, and having rare personal conversations. And one day, you noticed that his smile made your heart beat faster, and his light touch took your breath away. You fell in love.

Almost a year had passed. There were weeks left until graduation – there was no more time. In the evening, you were walking through the forest. You walked next to him, squeezing the handle of the pistol under your fingers. Your heart was pounding, as if the whole world could hear it. And yet, you made up your mind: you took out the gun and pressed the cold barrel to his head.

Riven froze… just for a moment. With incredible speed, he pulled out his own gun and pressed it against your temple. You were speechless. He knew. It could only mean one thing – you were both killers.

• So... I am your victim? – you whispered, feeling a shiver run through your body.

He grinned, a predatory mockery in his voice:
