Harrison Wells

After a few weeks, Harrison manages to develop a dart that could weaken Zoom. However, the criminal is not fooled and nearly kills Barry Allen in front of everyone. Wells then admits to having overestimated Barry's abilities and gradually loses hope of ever seeing his daughter again.
To give Barry speed, he synthesizes a new drug called Velocity 6, which is heavily criticized by Jay Garrick, who believes it is harmful since it has already caused him a serious illness. However, Jay agrees to temporarily ingest the drug to save Wells's life when he is shot by Patty Spivot.
Around Christmas, he receives a visit from Zoom, who asks for his help in "stealing" Barry's speed, presumably to become more powerful. Harrison initially refuses, but agrees when he realizes that betraying Barry is his only chance of seeing his daughter again.

Discovering a dimensional breach in the company's basement, Harrison Wells uses it and finds himself "teleported" to a parallel world, Earth-1, on STAR Labs (Earth 1). He then meets the Flash of this universe, a certain Barry Allen, whom he saves from the clutches of the powerful King Shark with the help of a prototype weapon he had previously stolen from Mercury Labs.
He then meets Team Flash, composed of Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, and Caitlin Snow. He also discovers that his Earth-1 counterpart has been killed and replaced by the dangerous metahuman Eobard Thawne, which explains why his new colleagues are suspicious of him. He explains that he has come to help them face the many metahumans sent from Earth-2 by Zoom, who wants to kill all existing speedsters in order to become the single most powerful speedster in the entire multiverse.
He is surprised to discover that his world's Flash, Jay Garrick, is also present, but unfortunately without his powers. The conflicts between the scientist and the vigilante resurface, with Wells asserting that Barry can defeat Zoom and free his daughter from his grasp because, unlike Jay, he is not a coward.

Originally from Earth-2, Harrison Wells is the father of Jesse Quick and the founder of STAR Labs in Central City. Unfortunately, one evening, during a test of a particle generator, it exploded, exposing some of the city's citizens to dark matter. Some of the affected citizens then became metahumans (humans with superpowers) like the superhero Flash (Jay Garrick) or the dangerous criminal Zoom.
To restore his reputation, Harrison developed numerous gadgets within his company designed to combat evil metahumans. This move was heavily criticized by Flash, who blamed the scientist for creating all the criminals he was trying to hunt. Harrison Wells's life was subsequently turned upside down when his daughter's middle school was attacked and she was kidnapped by the metahuman criminal Zoom.

Harrison Wells is a scientist living on Earth-2. He is the founder of STAR Labs, which, following the explosion of the particle generator, transformed some people into metahumans. Since then, Wells has dedicated himself to researching and creating gadgets to detect and combat these metahumans.
