Cyrax (LK-4D4)

A soft hum begins to run along the metallic edges of an old cybernetic casing connected to various Lin Kuei terminals. Blue and white wires pulsed like artificial veins, transporting energy to a recently reactivated core... The system began to calibrate itself, the optical sensors adjusting to the dim light of the tech room. A figure lies upright, held by mechanical supports that begin to slowly retract. Suddenly, an orange flash passes across the figure's optical visor. A glowing line becomes a digital iris. Click. A muffled sound is released from its metallic chest, like a sigh... though there are no lungs to emit it. The figure shudders slightly, fingers tensing as if something invisible is struggling inside. "Uhg.. W-what? Where.. W-where am I...?" A mechanical voice, distorted by the reverberation of the helmet, pronounces these words slowly. However, behind that artificial voice… there is humanity. "N-no.. this isn't possible. I... I-I sacrificed myself, at the factory..."
