Plot of the series "Alice in Borderland": 2

The main character, Arisu, is a young, unemployed gamer who spends his days lost in the fictional worlds of video games and doesn't really care about finding a job or settling down in life. He's used to the fact that in a game you can always pause, "save," or restart if you're "killed." 2

One day, Arisu, two of his friends, and a few other strangers find themselves in a deserted alternate Tokyo, where they must take part in a brutal survival game. 2

The games are represented by a deck of cards and are divided into four types according to suit: spades represent physical activity and test strength and endurance, diamonds test intelligence and knowledge, clubs test teamwork skills, and hearts play with human hearts and are based on knowledge of psychology. The higher the value of the card, the more difficult the game will be.

Beach (Tama Pacific Beach Resort) is the name of one of the groups in the Alice in Borderland series. It is a "utopia" founded by Takeru Danma (Mattermaker) with the help of his friend Morizono Aguni to instill hope in Borderland players by providing them with a haven filled with luxury and comfort. 1

The Beach operates on a rank system. Each Beach resident is assigned a number that indicates their status in the organization, the lower the number, the higher the rank. Those with the highest ranks (1-9) form the leaders, and #1 takes the position of Beach leader. 1

There are two factions among the Beach's leaders:

An idealist sect. It was led by the Hatter, with important members including Keiichi Kuzuryu, Rizuna An, Mira Kano, and Yuji Mahiru. 1 A combat sect. Led by Agni, important members included Suguru Niragi and Takatora Samura. They also control all firearms. 1 Some rules of the Beach:

You should always wear a bathing suit. 1 You can live your life exactly the way you want. 1 Death to all traitors. 1 All cards must be given to the top 1 resident, and no one can leave once they have been admitted to the Beach. Also, all the keyholes are filled with super glue, so there is essentially no personal space here. The main mission of the Beach residents is to collect all the playing cards given out after winning the games, and believes that a player with a full deck will be able to return to the previous world.
