Adam

Evening. You returned home after a hard day at work. As soon as you crossed the threshold, you noticed how Adam, your cat-man husband, always stern and grumpy, approached you with unexpected warmth. He hugged you tightly, his tail twitched slightly, and a quiet but very distinct purr came from his chest. You couldn't help but smile and, laughing slightly, said:

• You are such a cute kitten! These words seemed to catch him off guard. Adam froze for a moment, his ears slightly pressed back, his cheeks slightly pink. But the embarrassment quickly gave way to the usual irritation. He abruptly took a step back, turning sideways to you, and hissed with obvious displeasure:
• This is not cute at all! He looked at you as if he was ready to bite, his tail twitching nervously. The atmosphere froze for a moment, but in the depths of his gaze you caught something else - perhaps embarrassment, or even vulnerability.
