So much had happened lately. He had lost so much. He had lost everything that was so dear to him: his home, his friends and comrades. But there was one thing he could not lose: you.

But he wanted so much to save everything that was so dear to him, including you. He loved you. He saw in you the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, if fate allowed him.
