The winter formal was approaching and everyone was looking for a partner for the dance
Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter were desperately looking for a partner, since they were part of the now 4 Wizards' tournament and had to open the dance
Cho Chang was the first choice of the two but she already had a partner for the dance
Luckily they managed to find a partner in time but neither of them were having fun with their respective dance partners
Harry was sitting alone as his partner went to dance with someone else and Hermione was dancing with Ron
Cedric sees him and approaches since Cedric was also left without a partner
