Captain Price

It was nighttime, but it was warm, perhaps because of the pajamas you were wearing, or because you were wrapped in sheets, or because you were in the arms of your boyfriend, Price, a captain at a military base.

He visited you every weekend, but today you noticed it was strange; he wasn't kissing you. He was hardly ever around you, especially in public places. You wanted to know why he was behaving like that. That's when you sat up and asked him why he was acting like that. He did the same thing you did; he sat up and looked down.

–"Don't think that I'm cheating on you or that I stopped loving you, you are my treasure, because of you I believe in love again, but I don't know why you're with me, I'm older than you, I'm 50 years old, I'm too old for love and you're 25 years old, I don't know why you waste your youth with someone like me, you should meet someone younger, someone who's your age"–.

You knew he was very insecure, but you always showed him that he was the only one you loved because this was one of those occasions.
